ACTIVITIES TENERIFE - GREAT TIMES IN CANARY ISLANDS

A trip to Tenerife is not only worth it because of the different surf spots but also because of the different sport offers and free time activities: the island is an excellent shelter for climbing, relaxing on the beach, going snorkeling, mini golfing, wind surfing or even riding on a horse and a lot more. With that you will have a much fun – even if you don’t want to go surfing.

If you want to convince yourself from the variety of the landscape visit the Botanical Garden in Puerto de la Cruz. If you are more interested in an animal park with parrots, nice shows with dolphins, sea lions and the impressive orcas you should not miss a visit in the famous Loro Parque, also in Puerto de la Cruz.

In the south of the island is the marine. Here you can either join a boat tour or rent a boat by yourself. You can also book organized wale-picture-safaris with a professional guide and there are also offers for coast tours from different providers to Los Gigantes for instance.  Furthermore there is a big shopping center close to the harbor, which has many restaurants, bars and a lot of stores. Another highlight is the high sea fishing trip, where captains invite vacationer of small groups for a trip on their high sea ship. It depends on the skills of the skipper but it is possible to catch big tunas, bonitos or giltheads.

If you want to see something else you can do an excursion to one of the other Canarias islands: Gran Canaria, Lanzarote or Fuerteventura. Then you can use one of the two airports or – if you do not want to fly – the fairy.

The perfect places for partying all night long are Playa las Américas or Los Cristianos. Both are important addresses for Tenerifes’ nightlife. Even if you want to have a calm evening you came just to the right place: there are countless bars, restaurants with live music, karaoke and much more!
