Accommodation Sri Lanka - Two Surf Houses on the South Coast

At the surf camp in Sri Lanka there is an accommodation option to suit every guest. Whether you are looking for dorm-style accommodation, to stay in a cabana, or a holiday in a luxurious private balcony suite, you’ll find it at the surf camp in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is spread over two locations, namely Polhena and Madiha, which are a short distance from each other. Both Polhena and Madiha maintain a cosy camp vibe, by virtue of a limited number of guests, with a maximum of 20 and 28 surfers at the Polhena and Madiha camps, respectively.

Surf House Madiha

At the Madiha Surf Camp, there are several different accommodation options, spaciously set in 8,000m² of grounds within the Sri Lankan jungle. From luxurious private balcony suites to cabanas to dorm rooms, the Madiha Surf Camp has an accommodation option to suit any surfer. Whatever option you choose you can rest assured it’ll be a comfortable place to spend your holiday.

Within the garden grounds you’ll find a swimming pool whose crystal-clear waters you can cool off in, and plenty of peaceful areas to relax in, in between surfs.

Bedlinen and towels are provided in all of the rooms at the Madiha surf camp. However, we do kindly ask that you bring your own towels for the beach.

Villa Suite

In the surf villa there are two beautiful villa suites. Each of the villa suites it kitted out with a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. One suite features an enchanting outdoor shower and the other a luxurious indoor shower.

Balcony Suite

The balcony suite is the most spacious room of the Madiha camp. Situated on the first floor of the smaller surf house, the balcony suite has a spectacular jungle view. Step onto your private balcony when you wake up in the morning and experience the natural scenery. The balcony suite includes a large, modern, luxurious bathroom.

Cabana

The cabanas are each set within plenty of space within the garden grounds of the Madiha surf camp. Each of the four cabanas has a double bed, with a mosquito net and fan, and a stylish outdoor bathroom. Each of the cabanas has its own private veranda to relax on.

Double dorm

At Madiha Surf Camp, there are four double dorm rooms. Each of the double dorm rooms has two single beds. In two of the rooms the two single beds can be made into a double bed if you wish to share a double bed with a partner. All of the double dorm rooms have mosquito nets over the beds, a fan and an outdoor bathroom.

Villa dorm

The villa dorm is situated on the first floor of the Madiha surf villa. It sleeps four people in single beds and has a spacious adjoining bathroom. Despite being a dorm room, you will find plenty of space for both yourself and your belongings.

Surf House Polhena

At the Polhena surf camp, you’ll be accommodated in spacious rooms that ensure you’ll get a good night’s rest. There are both single bed and double bed dorms available. Each room sleeps a maximum of four people, has its own bathroom and is airconditioned. The surf camp has three single bed dorms, and two double bed dorms. Meaning that whether you are traveling alone or with a partner you will have the ideal place to rest after a long days surfing. The beds have dividing partitions between them to offer you plenty of privacy within the shared dorm room.

You don’t need to worry about taking up valuable luggage space with sheets and bedding. All bedding is provided as well as towels to use in the surf house. However, we kindly ask that you bring your own towel for the beach.

Outside of the bedrooms the surf house has plenty of other spaces to relax in too. Within the surf house itself you’ll find plenty of chill-out space and outside there are several sunny terraces in addition to a shaded area too, if you are looking to escape the heat. Outside there is also a swimming pool to cool off in.

The surf house in Polhena has a modern design and is of course very well maintained and clean. It offers the perfect base for your surf holiday in Sri Lanka.
